Uma cooperação entre o Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) e a Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) prevê a realização de publicações científicas e ações nas áreas de ciência de dados, inteligência artificial e formação em saúde, com foco na auditoria do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). A iniciativa será executada pelo Laboratório de Inovação Tecnológica em Saúde (LAIS/UFRN) e pelo Instituto Serzedello Corrêa (ISC/TCU).
A parceria estabelece uma colaboração estratégica voltada à inovação na administração pública, integrando tecnologia, saúde, fiscalização e controle. Entre as ações previstas estão o desenvolvimento de ferramentas de análise de dados e IA para aprimorar o controle externo e a gestão de políticas públicas, além da oferta de vagas em programas de pós-graduação (mestrado e doutorado profissional) voltados à inovação no setor público e à gestão da saúde.
A expectativa é ampliar a eficiência das fiscalizações, reduzir o tempo de resposta e fortalecer a transparência e a efetividade da gestão pública, servindo de modelo para outros órgãos de controle.
Mesmo antes da formalização da nova cooperação, a parceria já apresenta resultados concretos, como a produção de duas cartilhas voltadas à auditoria no SUS, elaboradas no âmbito do curso Especializa AudSUS — realizado em parceria com o Ministério da Saúde (DenaSUS), o TCU e a CGU.
Uma das cartilhas atualiza a 3ª Cartilha do TCU, alinhada aos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da ONU, com destaque para o ODS 3 (Saúde e Bem-Estar), adotando linguagem simples e atualizada à legislação vigente. A outra aborda a aquisição pública de medicamentos, trazendo orientações práticas e atualizadas conforme a nova Lei de Licitações e Contratos, além da previsão de um curso autoinstrucional sobre o tema.
As produções reforçam o compromisso das instituições com a formação qualificada de auditores e gestores e com o fortalecimento do controle social e da governança no SUS.
